Burckhardt Compression’s order intake passed one billion Swiss francs since the start of the company’s fiscal year on April 1, a new milestone for the company.

The record order intake places the company on track to meet its previously announced revenue target for the full 2022 fiscal year of between CHF 720 million and CHF 760 million and an EBIT margin similar to the fiscal year 2021 level, the company announced.

As already communicated in the ad hoc announcement of Nov. 1, Burckhardt Compression recorded an extraordinary growth in orders in the first half of fiscal year 2022 with CHF 706.7 million, a 57% increase in comparison with the previous year period.

Since October 1st , Burckhardt Compression continued to win large orders for applications related to solar panels, LNG ships and in the petrochemical business, adding up to more than CHF 1 billion since the start of the fiscal year.

“We were aiming to reach the one-billion-order-intake mark since years. With the launch of new products and the development of new applications in close collaboration with our customers, as well as the strong growth of our service business over the past years, we have now achieved this symbolic milestone,” said Burckhardt CEO Fabrice Billard.

“I would like to thank our customers for their trust, and our teams for their strong engagement. We are now focusing on delivering these projects to transform order intake into sales in the coming years”.
