Caribbean dealer boosts Kobelco Europe

01 March 2017

Kobelco Construction Machinery Europe (KCME) has announced the addition of WiMat, a company based in the Caribbean, to its expanding European network.

The company says this appointment furthers the growth of Kobelco suppliers within the European Union and underlines KCME’s commitment to supplying market leading specialist earth moving machinery to meet global demand.

Wimat is a relatively young company with branches in Guadeloupe and Martinique – two islands in the eastern Caribbean Sea that are part of overseas regions of France.

Kobelco equipment that will be stocked by Wimat includes the SK28SR-6, SK55SRX-6 and SK140SRLC-5 excavators.

KCME managing director Makoto Kato said the compact, low noise and fuel efficient nature of its products made them ideal for applications on the islands.
