09 October 2014

Ruchin Garg has been appointed to the post of business development manager for the Gulf by wash plant specialist CDE Global. He is to oversee the development of the CDE project portfolio in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Jordan, Bahrain, Qatar and Oman and joins the CDE team having previously been involved in the development of the CDE Asia mining business in India.

Speaking about the appointment Iain Walker, CDE regional manager for Middle East and Africa, said: “Ruchin is a welcome addition to our team as we seek to build on the successes we have enjoyed in recent years as we help operators in the region to enhance the efficiency and profitability of their operations. Our modular product range allows us to meet the demand for rapid deployment and minimum footprint which has grown significantly in recent years.”

The company also reports a growing demand for the water recycling systems it offers that allow operators to minimise the volumes of fresh water required to feed the washing plants. “Almost all of the projects that we sell in The Gulf include some form of water treatment and recycling system", Iain went on.
