Chicago Pneumatic launches Red Hawk range

02 July 2015

International construction equipment manufacturer Chicago Pneumatic has unveiled its Red Hawk range of motor drills and breakers.

With three options available, the new range is suitable for roads, railways and drilling applications, providing users with a range of rugged and reliable breakers.

“The Red Hawk range introduces new compact and portable solutions to CP’s portfolio of handheld pneumatic equipment, which are suitable for applications where users change location frequently.” said Gus Armbruster, spokesperson for handheld tools at Chicago Pneumatic.

“Equipped with a petrol powered engine, instead of a conventional hose or power cable, the Red Hawk range provides users with the versatility and maneuverability ideal for busy or remote locations.”

The Red Hawk Road (pictured) is the most powerful breaker in the new range offering high impact energy and weighing only 22kg. It is said to be ideal for concrete and asphalt breaking and cutting, enough impact energy is delivered to handle silica-rich rocks and reinforced concrete.

Designed specifically for use on and around railway tracks, the Red Hawk Rail is suited to fast, efficient tie tamping. By offering a higher frequency with less impact energy the Red Hawk Rail ensures that minimal damage is done to track ballast.

Thanks to the portable nature of the complete Red Hawk range, users can exit an area quickly without hoses and cables getting in the way.

Completing the range is the Red Hawk Drill, offering a combined drill and breaker for light service applications such as rock splitting, fencing work and digging into hard or frozen ground.

With a range of working tools, from cutting, to breaking and driving, the Red Hawk Drill is a universal tool that offers users working in remote locations a suitable alternative to existing drills and breakers.
