One is a mobile hydraulic oil filtration service to improve machine longevity. The new technology - which is one of the shortlisted technologies in Intermat’s innovation awards - allows service technicians to test oil and then, if required, filter it, which reduces oil wastage.

Second is a new machine lubrication service, and third is the offer to install hydraulic oil handling systems within a customer’s service van or workshop, drawing on its own expertise and that of its partner in France, Graco.

Chrono Flex is adding the services to leverage its already strong position in France, where it has service 300 vans and technicians.

The company told International Rental News (IRN) that discussions are underway with other Caterpillar dealers in Europe, including Finanzauto in Spain, about possible franchising of the Chrono Flex service.

Chrono Flex is one of several Monnoyeur businesses exhibiting at Intermat, with Bergerat Monnoyeur and Eneria also taking part.
