D&Ri surveys the industry - an online questionnaire

10 March 2010

It has been a challenging year but are the challenges set to continue through 2010 and beyond?

D&Ri is attempting to gauge the state of the market conditions faced by the demolition industry through the use of an on-line survey. This should indicate the view held by demolition contractors around the world of the state of the market conditions they are likely to be face in their region in the coming year.

In addition, those manufacturers supplying the construction industry has also seen their bottom lines under severe pressure across the board as construction and related activity has slumped, leading to a substantial reduction in new machine sales.

Anecdotally, demolition spec'd and high reach sales have held up reasonably well despite this, but is it time to attempt to confirm this fact? As a result, the Demolition Survey also asks for information relating to demolition contractors' equipment purchasing intentions over the next 12 months.

I would like to ask all demolition contractors reading this to go to http://www.zoomerang.com/Survey/?p=U2EJJGH7ZTBQ and take five minutes to answer the simple questions that are listed on the survey.

Note that one lucky respondent will be drawn to receive that most prized of desk ornaments, a model of a high reach excavator.
