Temporary structures firm De Boer is gearing up for a busy year in 2012 with several headline events calling on its services in the UK.

The UK team is set to tackle its largest single assignment as once again De Boer is called in to construct the huge temporary exhibition venue at the Farnborough International Airshow, taking place in July.

De Boer has been servicing the airshow since 1996. This year, the team will supply 3500 tonnes of equipment to create a temporary structure covering a floorspace of nearly 100000 m2.

De Boer UK will also provide the RHS Chelsea Flower Show with its Great Pavilion. The temporary indoor exhibition area, covering 12000 m2, will become home to exhibits from across the world in May.

The firm will also be lending a hand to breast cancer charity event MoonWalk. De Boer will provide temporary structures for the two MoonWalk events, taking place in London and Edinburgh next summer.

De Boer operates a network of international offices, with a total stock of temporary structures calculated at 500000 m2 of floorspace.

The UK division of Netherlands-based De Boer operates from a purpose-built headquarters in Northamptonshire.
