Denzai wins first project in Africa

Crane and transport services specialist Denzai KK from Japan has won its first contract in Africa.

The company’s South Korean subsidiary Denzai International Projects Co., Ltd was awarded the crane contract. Denzai will supply a 1,350 tonne capacity Liebherr LR 11350 lattice boom crawler crane for three months, helping to build a fertiliser plant in Nigeria for Indorama Eleme Fertilizer and Chemicals Limited.

The Indorama Fertilizer Train3 project at Port Harcourt will be built by Daewoo E&C Nigeria Limited, a subsidiary of Daewoo Engineering & Construction. Denzai will handle the technical planning, crane leasing and the dispatch of crane operators.
