Sébastien Desreumaux named CEO of Uperio Group

Effective October 1, Sebastien Desreumaux is the new CEO of Uperio Group.

Sébastien Desreumaux has been named chief executive officer at tower crane specialist Uperio Group, succeeding Philippe Cohet, president and founder, who will continue as a member of the company’s supervisory board. 

“I would like to warmly thank Philippe Cohet for his support during this smooth transition and assure the Uperio team in Europe and North America of my determination and full commitment to accelerate our leading market position in the tower crane industry,” Desreumaux said.

For the last year, Desreumaux has been Uperio Group’s deputy CEO.

Uperio offers tower crane rental, sales and related services. It manufactures Arcomet self erecting tower cranes and the Opti crane for contractors, roofers and carpenters. The company was formed from the merger of Matebat in France and Arcomet in Belgium. It has facilities in nine countries employing more than 600 people and operating a fleet of around 2,200 tower cranes. Uperio has 25 depots around the world.
