AFI buys 25 Eazzilift push around machines.

AFI-Uplift has invested in 15 Eazzilift Mini and 10 Eazzilift Midi machines, with respective working heights of 3.8 m and 4.3 m strengthening the range it offers in the push around vertical sector.

AFI Managing Director Richard Saunders said AFI was making the continued investment in response to customer demand for lower access machines. "We are seeing a significant increase in demand at the lower level end of the rental market. The Work at Height Regulations are having an effect, and the Health and Safety Executive has been taking a more active interest at the internal/fitting out stage of projects," he said.

The UK manufactured Eazzilifts are sold in the UK by r2 Access. Eazzilift Mini weighs 260 kg and is 1.2 m by 0.7 m, the Midi weighs 290 kg and is 1.4 m by 0.7 m, both machines can fit in a typical passenger lift.

The Eazzilift machines will join an AFI fleet of over 4300 machines located in 18 depots throughout the UK.
