Turkey-based access equipment manufacturer ELS Makine has a partnership with MST, a subsidiary of Turkey-based Sanko’s construction equipment division.

It is working with the company on its 19m electric scissor, for which MST will produce the chassis and electric drive. The EL19 will be ready in June this year. The company has also moved into telehandlers, with the support again of MST, which produces the whole product. The ETH 935 has already received its first order, from Africa, and now another two will be on their way to Saudi Arabia. ELS will launch a compact version next, then perhaps work on a larger capacity model, although it hasn’t been decided yet.

The company said the new alliance with MST will allow greater developments in chassis and booms, thanks to MST’s experience with telescopic boom production – it produces construction equipment for Hyundai in Turkey.

At Bauma, ELS was also expanding its vertical mast range with the 6m working height VM6 on the stand, although the model is still at a prototype stage. The company will then work on the VM8.
