Enerpac and Hydratight merger

International high-pressure hydraulics company Enerpac has announced that it will merge with engineering specialist Hydratight.

The two manufacturing, service and rental companies had been in talks for some time and in January 2019 took the first steps towards formally consolidating their brands.

A statement from both companies said the merger would enable them to improve their tool development, rental and related services, and provide customers with more effective solutions.

Hydratight has been operating for more than 30 years and offers a range of tailored rental solutions as well as engineering services.

Both companies’ associated brands were included in the deal, which will now see the businesses operate as a single entity under the Enerpac name.

Enerpac, a market leader in industrial tools, and torque and tension products and solutions, now includes the Hydratight, Simplex, Larzep, Biach, Equalizer, Sweeney and Mirage brands.
