Engine oil diagnostic system

25 April 2008

Deutz has introduced a new engine oil diagnostic system, which, it claims, allows engine users to extend their standard oil change intervals by up to 100 %, to a maximum of 1,000 hours. Designed for use in preventative maintenance, warranty evidence and accident claims applications, the system analyses the used oil to diagnose the condition of both the lube oil and the engine. Full details of the system can be found in Deutz Technical Circular TR 0199- 99-1119/4, available on application.
