First 70m truck mount to India

Noor Lifters, based in Mumbai, India, has taken delivery of a used Ruthmann Steiger TU 700.

The unit was bought through Ruthmann Finance and represents the first truck mount in its portfolio. The Indian rental company, which has about 250 employees, until now had forklifts, self propelled platforms and cranes in its fleet. The 70m working height TU 700 is also the first tracuk mount of this wokring height in the country.

Noor said it expected a high utilisation rate for the machine in cleaning buildings, and radio mast maintenance and repair. In addition, the rental company will be able to maintain wind turbines.

Brothers Khan Abdul Rehman and Mohammed Hasan Khan, managing directors of Noor, along with  Mr Noor, (pictured), picked up the the TU 700 from Ruthmann in Gescher, Germany.
