French turbine contract for Ainscough

30 November 2012

Ainscough Wind Energy Services (AWES) in the UK has won a servicing contract by Nordex for six wind turbines in Bordeaux, France. AWES installed the Nordex N100 turbines between July and August 2012. It will do the Type 1 servicing after the turbines have completed their first 500 hours of continuous operation.

Commenting on the project, John Fabby, managing partner, said, "As more communities across the world increase their dependence on renewable energy sources, it is important to make sure that the turbines are well maintained, thus delivering high levels of availability."
AWES has worked with Nordex for years and has installed and serviced turbines at wind farms across the UK, Portugal, Spain, Italy and the USA.
