St Austell - Bodmin relocation-01

GAP has relocated its Cornwall depot to Bodmin.

UK independent rental company GAP Hire Solutions has relocated its Cornwall, St Austell depot to the nearby town of Bodmin.

The move retains a depot within Cornwall, in the south of the UK, with good access by road. The new Bodmin depot is on the site of a former Marconi radio station, on two acres of land overlooking the A30 trunk road, a major road connecting London to Land’s End at the westernmost point of Cornwall.

Gavin Smith, Property Manager at GAP, said, “To ensure that GAP has the most suitable location and resources available, the refurbishment of the Bodmin location has included demolishing redundant buildings, converting an old workshop with new offices attached, and pouring 1.5 acres of concrete, creating a first-class depot to service the whole of the south west of Cornwall.”

The Bodmin depot is now open for business to serve customers looking for a range of hire equipment.

GAP Hire Solutions has over 140 locations across the UK, with ten divisions offering a range of hire equipment and services.
