Generac adds Nordic distributor

Lighting tower manufacturer Generac has agreed a deal with Sweden-based El-Björn, which will be its exclusive distributor in Sweden and Norway.

El-Björn, which employs 115 people, claims to be the market leader in the Nordic region, and specialises in construction and electrical services, manufacturing market complete solutions for power, lighting and climate control.

The two companies signed a distribution agreement for the primary Swedish and Norwegian territories, which will take effect from the third quarter of 2017.

Generac – and previously Tower Light – has been operating in the territory for over ten years, when it launched the compact Link Tower.

El-Björn will offer a range of Generac products as part of its agreement, including the V20 towerlight, the LINKT3 and the company’s latest Link-UFO product.
