USA-based rental company H&E Equipment Services has announced the opening of a new store in Freeport, Texas. This adds to 14 full-service H&E operations in the state and 71 stores nationwide.

The new store, at 403 South Gulf Boulevard, will provide full-service coverage to customers in the coastal area from Port Lavaca to Galveston. The recently remodelled facility is 13000 sq ft and is on a on two-acre site with a full yard area, offices, parts warehouse and a four-bay repair shop. The facility is capable of repairing a variety of general industrial and construction equipment.

The branch specialises in aerial lifts, telescopic forklifts, earthmoving and general construction equipment from manufacturers including Atlas Copco, Gehl, Genie, JLG, Multiquip, Okada, Skyjack, Skytrak, Takeuchi, Wacker Neuson and Yanmar.

“We have covered the Freeport area for years from Houston,” said Jeff Wood, H&E Freeport and Pasadena branch manager, “but we have worked hard to establish a full-service branch in Freeport to better serve customers in this thriving industrial area.

“Now, with more convenient access to all areas of our business, including rentals, sales, parts and service, we deliver greater value to customers in the Freeport area. Our factory-trained technicians and product support professionals will be in the area on a daily basis, providing a high level of equipment service that customers can depend on."

In addition to equipment rentals, the facility provides new and used equipment sales, in-shop and mobile service, a comprehensive parts inventory, training and other value-added services.
