Hanix Europe has chosen Sweden's Steelwrist AB as its preferred supplier of Tiltrotators in Europe.

The Steelwrist Tiltrotator acts as a ‘wrist' between the arm and bucket of the excavator, providing much greater bucket manoeuvrability compared to excavators fitted with a fixed bucket or quick coupler.

It allows operators to excavate, tilt (up to ±45 degrees) and rotate the bucket, or any other accessory, in one simultaneous operation. The attachment offers greater convenience and can increase productivity by as much as 30%, said Hanix.

"The Steelwrist Tiltrotator fits perfectly with our strategy of adding quality, complementary products to our existing range of mini-excavators", said Paul Hyslop, sales director of Hanix Europe.

"The unique Tiltrotator combines well with Hanix excavator models and has already established a successful track record with our dealerships in Scandinavia."

Hanix said that around 90% of 3 to 25 t excavators in Scandinavia are fitted with Tiltrotators.

Stefan Stockhaus, chief executive officer of Steelwrist, said: "For owner operators it's all about maximising productivity and for us it is a great privilege to have this opportunity of supporting Hanix Europe in achieving its goal of delivering more value to customers."
