Heijmans for Netherlands road contract

Dutch-based contractor Heijmans has been awarded a provisional design and build contract worth €127 million for the A1 road between Apeldoorn and Azelo in the Netherlands.

Heijmans was selected by Rijkswaterstaat, the Director General for Public Works and Water Management.

The works will involve the widening of the A1 between Twello and Deventer, and between Deventer-Oost and Rijssen.
