Hexagon Group's GeoMax steps into European market

Surveying equipment manufacturer, GeoMax, part of the Hexagon Group, is stepping into the European market.
The company, which makes equipment for the surveying, engineering and construction industries, is building up its European dealer network and is looking at the Turkish and Italian markets first.
Alois Geierlehner, business development director for GeoMax, said, "With continuing high growth rates in the region, Turkey provides an ideal start for GeoMax in Europe. The geographical and economical bridge function of Turkey, connecting Europe and Asia, enables GeoMax to spread into the region."
Esat Güldiken, sales and marketing manager for GeoMax's Turkish dealer, Geopos, said, "GeoMax perfectly complements our product range with highly productive instruments and ultimate price-performance ratio. The international background of GeoMax ensures that the instruments are both simple and meet the customers' needs."
