HKL adds Multitel platforms to rental fleet

Germany-based rental company HKL Baumaschinen has invested in new truck-mounted work platforms from Multitel.

The order includes the MT204EX telescopic work platform from the Italian manufacturer, which has a working height of 20m, platform capacity of 80kg, going up to 200kg at 10.9m outreach and 300kg at 9.2m outreach.

It also includes the MZ250 E6 articulated truck-mounted work platform with a basket boom in the 25m range. The unit has a platform height of 23.1m and weight of 3.5 tonnes. 

Meanwhile, the company is also adding to its telehandler fleet with the addition of T144H telehandler from Spanish manufacturer Ausa.

The company said the machine is “well suited to transporting materials in confined spaces” and comes with various attachments that enable a wide variety of applications.

It added that due to its weight of 2.4 tonnes and compact dimensions it is the only machine in its class that can be transported with a conventional trailer.

The machines from Ausa and Multitel have been added to its rental fleet in Austria, where the company has six depots in Vienna, Wolkersdorf, Wiener Neudorf, Graz, Linz and Salzburg.
