Holt Cat aims to expand

06 April 2015

Plans are in development between Holt Cat and local San Antonio and Bexar County authorities to finalize an incentive agreement that will allow Holt Cat to expand upon its current headquarters on the east side of San Antonio.

The agreement will support a $20.2 million real estate and personal property investment and will aid in the creation and retention of 195 headquarter jobs. Despite its presence in other parts of Texas, Holt Cat remained firm to its roots, with expansion plans in San Antonio, its home since the company's founding 1933, the company said.

Holt Cat said its expansion will help the company evolve with the needs of the various industries Holt serves in its 118-county territory across north, central and south Texas. "This natural evolution and development will further support the many industries Holt supports, including transportation, mining, construction and agriculture," according to the company.
