Holt Crane & Equipment has become Link-Belt's distributor for 47 counties in north, central and east Texas, US.

Based in San Antonio, Holt Crane & Equipment is a division of 75-year-old Holt Cat, Caterpillar's biggest US dealer, and will have branches in Irving and Houston.

"The demand for cranes in the Texas market and our partnership with Link-Belt present an incredible opportunity for both organisations," said Dave Harris, Holt vice president and general manager.

Link-Belt Construction Equipment Company, headquartered in Lexington, Kentucky, manufactures telescopic and lattice boom cranes.
