Hyundai’s new 15 tonne loader

Hyundai has introduced a new 15 tonne, Tier 4 Interim/Stage IIIB compliant wheeled loader in the shape of its HL757-9A that is available with three different loader arm configurations. In standard configuration, it offers a 2.8 m (9.2 ft) dump height and a reach of 1.6m (5.3 ft).

In high reach configuration, designated HL757XTD-9A, it offers a dump height of 3.2 m (10.5 ft) and a reach of 2 m (6.6 ft), and is fitted with additional counterweight of 840 kg (1,848 lb). The third version, designated HL757TM-9A (ToolMaster), is fitted with a parallel mast with a tipping height of 2.8 m (9.2 ft) and a reach of 1.8 m (5.9 ft) that can be used with a range of hydraulic couplers.

Power comes from a Cummins QSB6.7 six cylinder diesel developing 149 kW (200 hp) that is joined to a five speed powershift transmission with torque convertor lockup starting at second gear to minimise fuel consumption. The new machine can be used for loading and unloading in a wide range of applications
