More than 400 people attended a one-day safety seminar organized last month by Ainscough Crane Hire, the UK's largest mobile crane rental house. The event was offered free to representatives of Ainscough customer companies that included major UK construction contractors. A series of speakers that included Klaus Meissner from Terex-Demag and David Milne from Liebherr GB, gave informative presentations on a wide range of safety issues, especially on the implications of new legislation when hiring cranes.
