Intermat Paris 2021 cancelled

17 December 2020

Intermat 2021 in Paris has been cancelled because of uncertainties caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Organiser Comexposium said that ongoing public health concerns had made cancelling the event unavoidable.

”This difficult decision has today proven to be unavoidable in view of a public health environment that remains uncertain heading into the first half of 2021 and which would not be conducive to holding the show in full confidence in April”, it said.

“The decision was made following consultations with industry professionals convened with the Intermat Board of Directors.”

Originally due to take place between 19 and 24 April next year, the construction and infrastructure event will now next be held in three years’ time.

Comexposium said Intermat Paris 2024 would return “as strong as ever”.

The SaMoTer exhibition, currently scheduled to take place in Verona, Italy, between March 3 and 7, is one of the few international construction industry events remaining in the early 2021 calendar. KHL has contacted the organisers for an update.
