Invitation to enter ESTA awards

Leading mobile crane and specialized transport companies are being invited to celebrate their success by entering the ESTA awards of Excellence 2009.

The annual ceremony will take place at the Hilton Charles de Gaulle hotel in Paris on 23 April, during the Intermat exhibition.

A number of major manufacturers will sponsor the event, with Liebherr and Kobelco being the latest to sign up.

This year's event was described as the "largest crane and heavy haulage party in Europe", and took place in Amsterdam in June. About 400 guests from around the world attended the dinner and awards ceremony.

The event is jointly run by ESTA and International Cranes and Specialized Transport magazine. ESTA (European Association of Heavy Haulage, Transport and Mobile Cranes) is the pan-European association for national trade associations representing mobile crane rental, heavy haulage and abnormal load transport companies.

"The awards dinner has become firmly established as one of the main events of the year. It is a great chance to meet old friends and business colleagues, to make new contacts and celebrate our achievements," said ESTA Secretary Gino Koster.
