IRN welcomes new editor

Lewis Tyler is the new Editor of International Rental News (IRN) having served as the magazine’s Deputy Editor for the past year.

Lewis will be supported in his new role by Euan Youdale, who becomes Managing Editor of IRN, alongside his position as Editor of Access International.

Lewis joined KHL Group in March 2022 to work as an editor on multiple websites and since March 2023 has been Deputy Editor of IRN.

“Before joining KHL he spent five years in a variety of media and communication roles as well as editing a trade magazine in the fire safety market. He has also worked as a radio show host.

Euan Youdale is one of KHL’s most experienced journalists.

He joined the group in 2007 as a deputy Editor of International Cranes and Specialized Transport and has been Editor of Access International for the past 12 years.

Murray Pollok, Director of Content at KHL, said; “Lewis has demonstrated a real affinity for and understanding of the equipment rental market since he started work on the magazine last year.

Euan Youdale, Managing Editor of IRN Euan Youdale has been appointed Managing Editor of IRN.

“He is fortunate to be working alongside Euan, an authority on the access equipment industry who has a keen understanding of the rental market.

Murray will remain involved with the magazine through his current editorial management role at KHL and as a contributor and writer.

International Rental News was founded in the year 2000, initially as European Rental News, becoming IRN a few years later.
