JLG appoints EMEAIR directors

JLG Industries has announced the appointment of two directors in the Europe, Middle-East, Africa and India (EMEAIR) region.

Tjitske van Hellemond has been appointed to the role of director customer care EMEAIR, from 1 August this year. In her new role, van Hellemond will be responsible for all purchasing, marketing, and sales of JLG’s parts and service organisation across the region.

“Tjitske brings a wealth of experience from within JLG, as well as external expertise from her past to strategically lead our customer care business. She has excellent experience working in the parts and service industry and brings strategic perspective to enhance and expand our parts and services business in the region”, said Karel Huijser, general manager and vice president for JLG in the EMEAIR region.

Marko Kuipers transitions to the role of director of operations and continuous improvement on 1 September this year, and will be responsible for operations, purchasing, logistics, manufacturing, continuous improvement and safety in the region. “Marko brings 13 years of JLG experience to the role, most recently as director & associate general counsel - international. He is a knowledgeable and well-respected team member and we are excited that he has accepted this role,” said Huijser.

He continued, “Our new organisational structure will remain focused on our customers, to help them winning in our markets, enrichening lives by redefining job sites. With these unprecedented challenges brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic, we are confident in the long-term strengths of our company. We will continue to invest in our people, new technology, our facilities, and improve on our lifecycle services offering.”
