JLG distribution overhaul in EMEA

02 December 2016

JLG has partnered with Broekman Logistics, a third-party logistics company, to manage its parts distribution operations in the EMEA, beginning in 2017.

Broekman Logistics will operate the distribution centre for JLG from Born, Limburg, The Netherlands. As a result of the collaboration, JLG will close its parts distribution centre in Maasmechelen, Belgium, on 31 December. The parts operation will be interrupted between 22 December and 5 January to accommodate the move.

“As part of our efforts to ensure long-term growth and sustainability within our aftermarket business, JLG has conducted an overall assessment of its parts distribution strategy and network over the past six months,” said Frank Nerenhausen, Oshkosh Corporation executive vice president and president JLG Industries. “We have determined that changes to our existing parts distribution model are necessary to enable future growth.”
