Supplied by distributor Rivertek Services UK, the two axle city crane model has a 28 metre fully powered boom and a 5.8 metre hydraulic fly jib. It can lift 20 tonnes at 2.5 metres and includes a 5 tonne searcher hook and double winches as standard.

Keith Morgan, Crane Hire Solutions managing director, said, “We are delighted to add a new Kato city crane to our rental fleet. We like the build quality and reliability of Japanese manufactured cranes and we are sure that this new Kato will fit into our rental fleet well.

“We get a lot of work out of our 13 tonners so it is very easy for our operators to jump between the city cranes and cover the work coming in.”

In operation for more than 20 years, CHS provides a range of cranes from heavy lifting machines to specialist tight access cranes and specialist Iron Fairies across the country’s Midlands region. The new Kato CR-200Rf will be put to use alongside the company’s two 13 tonne Kato city cranes.
