Klaus Kröppel is general manager sales at Tadano Faun in Lauf an der Pegnitz, Germany

On 1 May Klaus Kröppel took up a new position as general sales manager at Japanese crane manufacturer Tadano Faun based in Germany.

His remit includes a greater focus on the customer and to make internal sales processes more customer-centred, Tadano said.

Kröppel’s crane experience is 17 years at Manitowoc Grove in Wilhelmshaven, Germany. Most recently there he was vice president Europe and Africa for mobile cranes. He has a degree in economics and had technical military training. Before joining the crane industry he held management positions in the chemical industry.
