Last chance to enter for ESTA 2009 awards
24 March 2009
The final deadline for entries is this Friday (27 March), with the judging process due to begin next week.
The awards will take place at the Hilton Charles de Gaulle in Paris on 23 April during the Intermat exhibition. They are jointly run by ESTA and International Cranes and Specialized Transport magazine.
Last year's event - billed as the "largest crane and heavy haulage party in Europe" - took place in Amsterdam in June to great acclaim. More than 400 guests from around the world attended the dinner and awards ceremony, with a similar number expected in Paris this April.
ESTA, the European Association of Heavy Haulage, Transport and Mobile Cranes, is the pan-European association for national trade associations representing mobile crane rental, heavy haulage and abnormal load transport companies.
Sponsors backing the 2009 awards include Liebherr, Kobelco, Manitowoc, Tadano Faun, Terex Demag, Faymonville and Sarens.
"The awards dinner is a great chance for us all to meet old friends, make new business contacts and to celebrate our achievements, "said Gino Koster, ESTA Secretary.
