China-based manufacturer Liugong Machinery and Poland’s Rzeszów University of Technology have entered into an agreement to establish a technical exchange programme.

The co-operation, said to be the first of its kind between a college and a Chinese enterprise, is designed to prove beneficial to both parties. The Rzeszów University of Technology has a strong scientific research history, which will help Liugong to establish a modern R&D (research and development) centre.

The agreement will also expand students’ internship and employment opportunities, and promote the development of Rzeszów University of Technology, as well as stimulate investment and economic development for the city and surrounding areas.

Liugong will invest in developing R&D facilities and laboratories in Stalowa Wola, the hometown of Rzeszów University.
