German rental company M&V Veit Baumaschinen has expanded its fleet with the purchase of 15 new hydraulic breakers from Atlas Copco.

M&V Veit Baumaschinen took delivery of the 15 SB series hydraulic breakers with ContiLube Micro earlier this year, and said it had enjoyed rental success with them so far.

The company operates a fleet of 500 units, including 60 hydraulic breakers.

M&V Veit Baumaschinen chose the Atlas Copco units for several reasons. "The main factors for us were the good overall operating costs on the one hand, combined with the excellent stability and long service life of the equipment,” said Moritz Veit, responsible for the sales and rentals division.

M&V Veit Baumaschinen also operates a mobile 24-hour hydraulic service for its customers with two vehicles. This was another important factor in the purchasing decision.

"To ensure that our service technicians can get everything running smoothly again within a short time, we need spare parts that are available quickly,” said Volker Veit from the Hydraulic hose service division.
