Manitou reorganises with two new leading roles

Manitou Group has reorganised its executive committee with the creation of two positions.

The two new roles of Chief Transformation & Governance Officer and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) are to be held by Hervé Rochet and Céline Brard, respectively.

Hervé Rochet - Manitou Hervé Rochet

Over the past five years, Manitou Group has seen growth in sales of 50% and employees of 30%. This performance has been achieved in a world of perpetual change, where environmental, social, digital and human issues are now paramount, said the company, and the reorganisation is designed to meet these challenges.

As Chief Transformation & Governance Officer, Hervé Rochet, who has held the position of Corporate Secretary – CFO since 2014 will help accelerate the group’s transformation, address digital, human and reputational challenges while ensuring the integrity of its governance framework.

Céline Brard - Manitou Céline Brard

Céline Brard has spent her career in highly competitive international environments, notably with KPMG for nine years and Valeo for over 24 years. During her time at Valeo, Brard had financial responsibility for several geographical zones around the world. Her role as CFO will be to position the department for the development of profitable and sustainable growth.

Michel Denis, President & CEO of Manitou Group, commented, “With the strong growth our group has experienced in recent years, and the ever-increasing challenges of sustainability, I have decided to adapt the organisation of our Executive Committee to best support our business.

“This change responds to two needs identified by Manitou Group. Firstly, to strengthen the strategic and financial management of our business in order to structure and support our growth efficiently; and secondly, to accelerate our transformation and that of our stakeholders by anticipating and supporting the changes and needs of our society. This is how we will continue to set the world in motion.”
