Manitou Group has decided to withdraw its dividend payment to shareholders.

The payment of €0.78 per share was initially announced when the 2019 annual results were published in early March.

The company’s board of directors said a payment to replace the dividend may be made in October, or later this year, subject to the current situation, at which time a shareholders’ meeting to proceed with the reserve distribution payment will be called.

As a result of travel and social distancing measures imposed by the French government, the board will hold its next meeting, a Combined General Meeting (ordinary and extraordinary), behind closed doors, on 18 June. Shareholders will not be present at the meeting at Manitou’s headquarters in Ancenis-Saint Géréon but will be able to watch a recording of it and can vote on its contents by mail.

In view of the fact that shareholders will not be able to ask questions or propose amendments or new resolutions during the general meeting, the company will accept written questions by e-mail. Manitou will respond to the questions in the minutes of the meeting, published on its website.
