Manitowoc MLC100 crawler debut

Manitowoc is showing its MLC100 crawler crane in the iron for the first time at bauma China 2010.

It is built for the Chinese market at the company's factory in Zhangjiagang.

Gilles Martin, Manitowoc's Asia-Pacific region executive vice president, said, "Transportability, reliability, ease-of-assembly and operating speed were all factors taken into consideration when developing the MLC100.

"We used our expertise as a truly global manufacturer to combine the best locally-available components with Manitowoc technology for a new class-leading range of crawler cranes."
