Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ) in Belarus has a new 32 tonne capacity truck mounted crane.

Crane, truck and special vehicle maker MAZ in Belarus, showed the crane at the BudExpo 2021 exhibition, 17 to 20 March, in Minsk.

The MAZ 5576 BY-H-22 has a 32.6 metre rounded profile telescopic boom in four sections made with high strength Weldox steel. It will lift 4 tonnes to a height of 33 metres, enough to service buildings up to 11 storeys high, the manufacturer said.

The 6 x 6 MAZ truck carrier has a 330 hp diesel engine to Euro 5 exhaust emission standard, nine speed gearbox and an axle load of 10 tonnes.

There is a lattice jib mounted on the side of the boom and a proximity warning system to help avoid contact with overhead power lines.

In 2017 MAZ and Chinese manufacturer Zoomlion established a joint venture business to start manufacturing special-purpose vehicles, including mobile cranes, concrete pump trucks, concrete mixer trucks and municipal vehicles.
