Leading French crane rental company Mediaco has entered the German market with the opening of its first rental depot in the country.

Mediaco GmbH in Rheinau (Khel) in South West Germany is just across the River Rhine from Strasbourg. It has a team of 10 people and eight wheeled mobile cranes from 50 to 200 tonnes capacity. A 50 tonne truck and trailer are also assigned there. The company said the new depot will meet growing demand from Germany and the border area with France.

The new depot joins 60 others in France where the fleet of 3,000 machines includes 600 wheeled and crawler mounted mobile cranes from 30 to 800 tonnes capacity. Mediaco Group, including all its activities, has a turnover of around €300 million (US$ 327 million).
