At that time, the business had four trucks on the road. In 1999, Budget was looking for ways to generate waste for the waste haulage business, so it moved into the demolition industry. At first the demolition division was just to help keep the trucks busy, but the demolition division quickly grew into the largest division of Budget Environmental Disposal.

Today, Budget Demolition is among the top demolition companies in Canada. In 2003 Ian was joined by his partners to purchase Budget and Ian has been acting as president since then. Ian is a true entrepreneur and is always looking for ways to improve Budget.
