N&A James buys Terex all terrain crane

03 August 2018

UK-based crane rental and heavy haulage specialists N&A James has bought a new Terex AC 40/2L all terrain crane.

The two-axle 40/2L crane is the most compact unit in Terex’s 40 tonne (45 US ton) capacity class and Terex said it is well-suited for operations in constrained spaces. It has a main boom length of 37.4 metres (122.7 ft) and an overall system length of 45.4 m (149 ft). And with a total length of 10.79 metres (35.4 ft) and travel speed of 80 km/h (50 mph), Terex said the AC 40/2L can travel on public roads with ease.

“We were pleasantly surprised with how fast Terex Cranes was able to help us identify the right model and deliver a new unit to our yard,” said Kevin Green, manager for N&A James. “Our Terex Cranes salesperson, Tim Leech, got us what we needed fast, and we appreciated that.”
