Kennards new depot in Caloundra, Queensland

The Australian rental company said the new depot, given its location and expected demand, should see strong growth registered over the years to come.

Last year, Kennards added three locations in the summer, in Broome, Kununurra and Winnellie. It also acquired Belmont Hire in the first quarter of 2017.

Ainsley Ingledew, branch manager for the Caloundra depot, said, “As a manager who is passionate about providing great customer service, my goal for the Caloundra Branch is to turn everybody that walks through the door into a raving fan.

“Luckily, Kennards Hire is the kind of business that really appreciates my approach and that’s why I’ve been with them for seven years. After only two weeks we are seeing strong pickup with local DIYers, including quite a few online hires and a series of new larger local accounts.”
