Janet Entwistle has been appointed chief executive officer at Ainscough Crane Hire in the United Kingdom. Robin Richardson has stepped down from his position as CEO of the UK’s largest mobile crane rental company where he was in post for three years.

Commenting on her appointment Entwistle said, “I am delighted to be joining Ainscough and look forward to working with the team to continue to grow and strengthen the business. In my first few weeks I will be meeting employees, customers and key partners to understand how the business works and what we can do to make Ainscough even better.”

Entwistle was most recently CEO at property services group Knight Square Holdings. Before that she was managing director at BT Fleet, a fleet management business.

Ainscough Group, including Ainscough Crane Hire, James Jack Lifting Services and Ainscough Wind Energy Services, has been owned by USA-based Oaktree Capital Management since March 2015.
