Dave Harris, commercial director, A-Plant

A-Plant has appointed Dave Harris to the role of commercial director, reporting to CEO Sat Dhaiwal.

The UK rental company said Mr Harris brought a wealth of experience in the hire industry, having previously held similar roles covering the UK and Ireland.

He has also accumulated a great deal of experience in board level roles in other sectors, as he was formerly managing director of cinema operator UCI Cinemas and managing director of travel agency Going Places.

In his new role at A-Plant, the company said Mr Harris would be responsible for driving the UK strategy forward, developing business with A-Plant’s customers and becoming involved in merger and acquisition activity.

It said Mr Harris would work alongside the leaders of A-Plant’s many divisions, including A-Plant Accommodation, FLG Services, Leada Acrow, PSS Hire and Eve Trakway.
