A new distributor and exporter powered access equipment and forklift trucks has been established in Belgium.

The company, called HM&P International NV has been set up by Philippe Parmentier and Hervé Missiaen, who are respectively experienced in the sale of aerial lifts and forklift trucks.

Mr Parmentier has worked at DK Rental, Lavendon, Genie Europe, TVH and the Thermote and Vanhalst Group. Mr Missiaen also has experience at Thermote Vanhalst and at HM INternational.

The founders expect each side of the business to feed the other with, "powered access businesses being informed about affordable used forklifts and forklift dealers being informed about affordable access equipment."

HM&P said that it will offer its customers a multi-lingual service and a range of "premium selected equipment" - the company will also source units for customers' specific requirements.
