24 April 2008

Crushing and Screening Contractor Peter Bennie Has Just Taken Delivery of the UK's first Horizon 6203 mobile screen from Powerscreen. The self contained Horizon screen has replaced a 23-year old wheeled screening plant, which used to take several days to move and set up.

The Horizon 6203 has a capacity of up to 800 tonnes per hour and has a 6 by 1,83 m horizontal triple deck screen box and four conveyors to split the feed material into four different sized products. Peter Bennie's new screen is currently screening, conveying and stockpiling ironstone at Wroxton Fields quarry in Northamptonshire into four graded fractions.
