Hertz Equipment Rental Corporation (HERC), a wholly owned subsidiary of Hertz, has opened a new US depot in Great Falls, Montana.

It said the new facility would deliver specialty equipment rental solutions for commercial construction, oil producers, refineries, mining, agriculture, public works, and industrial manufacturing.

The new store joined HERC’s Pacific Northwest 15-branch fleet pool.

“We are very excited to launch our first location in Montana to meet the growing demands of a diverse marketplace, as well as expand our nation-wide footprint,” said Robert Cowing, HERC division vice president of North American sales.

The company added that the HERC Great Falls facility would provide a wide range of fleet for rent or sale including industrial equipment, generators, earthmoving, aerial, forklifts, lighting, air compressors, welders, pumps, compaction equipment, heaters and mixers.

It said the branch also offered trailers, water trailers, and trucks from half-ton pickups to dump trucks and two ton flatbeds. In addition, the retail showroom was said to feature power tools, Husqvarna construction products, Stihl products, heaters, Honda generators, pumps, diamond blades and safety equipment.

Expansion

The opening of the new Montana depot came after a string of network expansion announcements from the company, including a used equipment store in Orlando, US, and a new heavy industrial equipment rental facility in Missouri, US.

Internationally, this year has also seen HERC expand in the Middle East and Panama.
