The Potain Igo M 14 self-erecting tower crane at Batimat 2013 in Paris

Manitowoc exhibited its new Potain Igo M 14 self erecting tower crane at the Batimat 2013 show in Paris, France, from 4 to 8 November.

The 1.8 tonne capacity crane has a 19 metre lifting height and a maximum jib radius of 22 m. It can lift its 1.8 tonnes out to 9 metres and 0.6 tonnes at the end of the jib. A remote start generator, permanent ballast and an hydraulic levelling system are other features.

Its footprint is 4 x 4 m and there is 5.1 tonnes of counterweight. Two versions are available, one of which can be towed behind a 7.5 tonne truck, the manufacturer said.
